Continuing Medical Education (CME): A Grant that is made to support accredited Continuing Medical
Education in
a specific area of healthcare knowledge, skills, or professional performance.

Investigator Initiated Research (IIR): A Grant that is made to support an Investigator-Initiated
Study focused
on a specific, scientific objective related to patient care or improved health outcomes.
